Travel + Leisure says..."This iconic, sail-shaped hotelawhich soars 1,053 feet over the Persian Gulf, on an artificial island off Jumeirah Beachaliterally epitomizes Dubai's over-the-topness. And though the property, which was completed in 1999, is ancient by local standards, guests still stop to gawk at the self-professed “seven-stara hotel's 600-foot-high atrium when they first enter (many do so after arriving via helicopter or chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph limo). The 202 massive suites (which start at 1,830 square feet and go all the way to 8,396) are all bilevel, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows; dedicated butler service; fully equipped private bars; offices with automated everything; and bed linens, furniture, and window treatments upholstered in opulent velvets and satins. The sprawling baths are stocked with full-size Hermès toiletries (other little gifts, like La Prairie night cream and aromatherapy “sleep spray,a arrive in guests' suites each night). The property's common areas are equally excessive; of the six restaurants, Al Mahara, serving high-end seafood, is designed to look as if it were underwater, with a huge aquarium and a dining room accessible via simulated submarine ride from the lobby." -From Travel + Leisure

Stylish and dynamic The Cove Atlantis sits atop two of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Cove and Paradise Beaches. Inspired by the beauty of its natural surroundings The Cove is a place that thrives on the rhythm of the day. While its ultra pool and beach club create a seamless day to night scene its spectacular ocean views and a balmy open-air lobby embrace natures most compelling elements creating seductive and indulgent experiences that only The Cove could call its own.

Travel + Leisure says...
"The hulking, coral-pink fantasy castle of the Bahamas only megaresort is visible from miles away (by land or sea); the towers dont just dominate the Bahamian skyline, they are the skyline. In terms of size, glitz, and hype, billionaire developer Sol Kerzners property dwarfs every other in the commonwealth: the main resort has some 2,300 guest rooms, a massive casino, a 63-slip marina filled with luxury yachts, 40-odd restaurants and bars, and too many activities and entertainment options to count (did we mention the 63-acre waterpark?). Its Disney on the Caribbean, and there are plenty of folksespecially families with kids, and even visiting high rollers like Michael Jordan and Britney Spearswho are just fine with that. Those wanting access to the snazziness without being in the middle of it will prefer The Cove Atlantis, a separate resort within the resort that opened in March 2007. The glamour here is lower-key, with 600 elegant, clean-lined suites (as opposed to the tropical whimsy that prevails at the main resort). The cavernous Mandara Spa, and the fact that no kids under 12 are permitted in certain areas, make this the one part of Atlantis where youll feel relaxed rather than dazzled.
Tip: If you tire of the uppity cuisine (and prices) at on-site restaurants like Nobu and Mesa Grill, go for a pastrami on rye at the goofy, New York-esque Murrays Deli.
Room to Book: If the knockout Bridge Suite (featured in the film After the Sunset) is out of your price range, head for rooms in the Reef Atlantis complex, which is right off the beach."
