A place where sun-sea-sky and earth join as one to form a tropical oasis like no other - a place called Esperanza.

Juicy Tidbits
Travel + Leisure says... "Set at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula, just a few miles from Cabo San Lucas, The Esperanza overlooks both the Sea of Cortez and Punta Ballena (“Whale Point,a past which humpbacks migrate in winter). The 57 casita rooms and suitesaand 60 privately owned villasaare spacious and airy, decorated in muted seashell colors and natural fibers (rattan chairs, carved-wood tables and headboards, locally woven rugs). Each has a single wall that slides open dramatically to a private veranda with an infinity-edge hot tub and sweeping ocean views." -From Travel + LeisureConde Nast Traveler says..."This is a place for a special occasion." On a bluff above the Sea of CortAs, this resort ensures that the water is "visible from all points." "Well-lit, inviting haciendas have light-colored woods and custom textiles. Eclectic dining at the breathtaking valley's edge. Experience the diversity of Bali by pairing your visit with a stay at Four Seasons Resort at Jimbaran Bay, with far-reaching ocean views.

Juicy Tidbits
Travel + Leisure says...\"Set in Bali's dazzling green central highlands among 18 acres of gardens, this property's Star Wars-esque architecture seemsawell, rather alien at first. Once the shock of the incongruously mod elliptical white lobby building wears off, though, all is forgiven. The resort's 42 freestanding villas, which overlook the tranquil Ayung River, organic vegetable gardens, lotus ponds, and small rice paddies, are harmonious with the surrounding nature. Each villa has a private terrace for soaking up the scenery, along with a plunge pool and a lounging pavilion; inside, each is lavishly appointed with teakwood cabinets and floors and hand-loomed Sulawesi silk upholstery. The resort's three spa villas, nestled among terraced hillside greenery, are staffed with the best therapists in Ubud. The spa menu includes a menu of wraps, rubs, and herbal scrubsabut the real don't-miss treatment is the Suci Dhara Ayurvedic treatmentawhich includes a relaxing scalp massage followed by a hypnotic warm-oil drip to open your third eye.\" -From Travel + Leisure

Conde Nast Traveler says..."A dramatic teak bridge over a gorge leads to the main building, which suggests a cylindrical treehouse. "With surprises like a small temple, exploring this property is an adventure." Balinese-inspired villas have plunge pools, and outdoor living rooms provide the experience of "being in the jungle." Jati Bar has a 180-degree view of the Ayung River Valley. The spa menu lists spice baths and herbal body scrubs. " -From Conde Nast Traveler

Juicy Tidbits
Travel + Leisure says...
"Although overwater bungalows are the most luxurious lodgings at the Four Seasons, the hotel has 121 different rooms scattered along the beachside and lagoon of its motu (small private islet). Walls throughout are made of volcanic stone, roofs are palm-thatched, and interiors are decorated with teak and merbau-timber furnishings. All have extraordinary views over the turquoise-blue, coral-filled South Pacific, as well as the majestic black-rock peaks of Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia."
-From www.travelandleisure.com

Conde Nast Traveler says...
" When we stayed last October, the new Four Seasons was not yet sitting as comfortably in its surroundings as the Hotel Bora Bora (closed for renovations), or the neighbouring St Regis Resort, where Nicole Kidman had her honeymoon, but time should lend a few lines of character. Certainly, those who prefer to see the world though Four Seasons goggles will love it. French designer Pierre-Jean Picard has given the resort the feel of a golf-course, with golf-carts transporting guests to the 100 bungalows, all of which are exceptionally comfortable, with large beds, L'Occitane soaps, framed Tahitian artefacts and sliding wooden doors opening onto a horizon of palm trees. The two restaurants are good (it's hard to botch a tuna caught 50 metres away); the barman was nine years at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris; and the place is perfect for honeymooners (50 per cent of guests), anyone celebrating a wedding anniversary (20 per cent), or mid-30s professionals with children. But the pièce de résistance is the spa. When Rupert Brooke got sunburned on Tahiti he had to make do with a massage of coconut oil and vinegar. Here, Jennifer will give you a two-hour 'therapy treatment', involving a cactus brush, apricot kernels, peelings of black pearl, hot volcanic stones and frankincense and myrrh oils."
