Juicy TidbitsTravel + Leisure says..."This Southwest-style resort, made of low-slung adobe casitas in central Arizona’s Boynton Canyon, blends into the iconic red-rock cliffs of Sedona, a town known for its artsy, New Age vibe. Opened in 1987 and set on 70 acres, Enchantment’s 218 rooms and suites (fresh from a renovation in 2012) look out onto undulating canyon walls and green cottonwood trees, while neutral interiors are inspired by the surrounding terrain and are filled with accents that refer to local Native American culture (kiva fireplaces; area rugs inspired by traditional basket-weaving). Within Enchantment’s grounds, but separate from the main complex— also home to several pools, six tennis courts, pitch-and-putt golf, and hiking trails—is the transformative Mii Amo, a 24,000-square-foot destination spa with 16 casitas as well as a dedicated pool and regionally inspired restaurant. A three-, four-, or seven-day stay at Mii Amo—or a “Journey,” as it’s called—is priced on an all-inclusive basis (accommodation, spa treatments, and meals), while Enchantment guests can book treatments on an à la carte basis.~From Travelandleisure.com

Unique location within the Bel-Air Estates of Los Angeles, two miles from Beverly Hills. - In-room iPad for ordering room service - Seamless check in and check out - Spa by La Prairie - Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air - Unique features like private patios, jacuzzis, and fireplaces - Situated on 12 acres of lush gardens.
Juicy TidbitsJuicy Hotels says..."The Hotel Bel Air is a cool combo of Hollywood star power bling and comfortably welcoming and friendly. You don't HAVE to be someone to stay here, thank goodness, because the property is absolutely lovely. Every pore of this recently renovated beauty oozes history and charm. It's well worth doing some reading on the property about its illustrious past.
While the rooms are so lovely it's hard to peel yourself out of them, peel out you must to enjoy the jewel box pool, outdoor terrace restaurant and in the evening, do NOT miss the bar. If you come back from your evening exhausted or are just ramping up to head out…seriously, this is a bar not to be missed. Friendly bartenders shake up mean concoctions in unique style and will help suggest fun things to try. The people watching, it must be said, is over the top, but in an understated way.
The onsite La Prarie Spa is gorgeous and well worth booking a signature treatment.
The grounds are simply spectacular, with rooms spilling into canyons, hillsides, clustered in little enclaves some with private patios, private hot tubs and wood buring fireplaces. The recent renovations have brought this timeless beauty into the modern world without losing it's historical charm. This is a truly Juicy property and one not to be missed if you are looking for something special in Los Angeles. ~Laura van Hoff, Editor, JuicyHotels.com
Travel + Leisure says..."What sets the Bel-Air apart is its sense of sanctuary; despite the property’s relatively large size (12 acres), the warm staff, the cozy Spanish Mission-style architecture, and the old-world gestures like complimentary tea service in the lobby lounge create an intimate ambience. The 103 uniquely decorated rooms all have luxurious, understated touches; many include fireplaces. Those with private patios are tucked behind walls covered with cascading bougainvillea, flowering shrubs, and giant California oaks. Lunching on the Bel-Air terrace, while gazing over the swan pond and pretending not to notice the Oscar winner at the next table, is a decades-old L.A. pleasure. ~From Travelandleisure.com
